Plays with (optional) Music...

This option covers plays (of various sorts) where the author suggests music (usually songs), but is happy for the production to leave the songs out.
(The focus is therefore on the drama more than the music.)
 
(Note that there is a separate category of "Musicals" where the music is integral to the show.)
 
The Plays with (optional) Music category includes scripts with which we provide a musical score and those for which the author makes suggestions for the use of well-known songs (for which we do not provide the scores).
 
The search results page will indicate whether or not we provide a musical score (and whether or not recordings of the music are available).
