Frances A. Lewis was born in Liverpool to an inveterate story-telling father and uses her inborn sense of humour to enliven her plays. She has been involved in theatre for most of her life graduating from stage performances to directing and finally, to writing her own award-winning plays. She has travelled the world with her peripatetic husband but now lives in Maryland, U.S.A., close to her children and grandchildren.
