About the author Lou Treleaven is a children's author and playwright. She has had several short plays performed on the London fringe and at Tenby Arts Festival where she has featured in Pint Sized Plays for three years running. Her children's books Professor McQuark and the Oojamaflip, The Snowflake Mistake and Letter to Pluto are published by Maverick Arts Publishing.

Never Mind the Butler Never Mind the Butler was Lou's first full length play and was inspired by her passion for a certain well-loved television drama featuring life upstairs and downstairs in a country manor house. |
Warm, Hot, Getting, Hotter This one-act play was a winner at Wimbledon Bookfest's Playfest 2014 and was performed at the festival by Attic Theatre (see photos). Since then it has been performed by South West Hassra, winning Best Performance at their annual drama competition, and Banbury Cross Players who performed it in three different locations including a retirement home and a restaurant.
