About the Author
Nikki has been involved in the theatre from a young age. After training at the Joyce Mason School of Dance, she spent many years treading the boards with local amateur groups, before co-founding her own theatre company, 'Square One Productions' with award-winning actress Alison Newell and husband Andy. As Creative Director, Nikki directed a very successful production of her debut play, '2 Glasses & A Bottle of Red' which toured to sell out audiences at venues throughout Lincolnshire.
Now 'retired' from performing, Nikki lives in Castlethorpe, North Lincolnshire, with her husband Andy, and twins Lily and Oliver. |
Writing
Nikki has been a prolific writer since childhood and has had several poems published to date. In recent years she has been inspired by the works of Alan Bennett and John Godber and her play-writing has continued to develop. She loves character driven plays, 'I want the audience to feel something' and enjoys exploring with different genres and styles of writing.
'In One Form or Another' is the first of her plays to be published by Lazy Bee Scripts and marks a collaborative effort between herself and acclaimed horror/thriller writer Nathan Robinson. |
