Bio
Robin Fusco is known for shattering social conventions in her work. She creates diverse characters who refuse to bend to society’s expectations and believes stories are a way of playing what if that, ultimately, spur change. Several of her one acts have been published including Mission Complete, which looks at the moral dilemma two astronauts face after discovering an alien race. Her full-length play When the World Ends was recently a Second Rounder in the Austin Film Festival stage play competition.
In addition to her stage work, Robin writes for the screen. Her feature Happy Endings Senior Living recently placed as a quarter-finalist in both the Big Break and Screencraft Comedy Feature competitions, and her sitcom Bert Control was a finalist in the 3 Rivers Screenwriters Conference pitch competition as well as a Second Rounder in the Austin Film Festival. |
Robin holds an MFA in Writing for the Screen and Stage from Point Park University and a BA in Theatre from Muhlenberg College. She enjoys being able to instantly visit whatever world she chooses by simply creating it. |
