Born in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, Mike joined the BBC as a sound engineer and has worked on programmes in all the major radio networks, radios 1, 2, 3 and 4.
When he left the BBC he joined Radio Hallam in Sheffield as Production Manager, writing, producing and voicing radio commercials while also presenting his quirky and popular Saturday show, Mike Rouses’ Flying Pizza Show.
After leaving Radio Hallam he opened and still runs his own recording studio MRA Studios.

One Act Play "Kill-Joy"
Kill-Joy, under its original title Mirror Image, was first performed in 2017 by the Dilys Guite Players for five performances at the Lantern Theatre Sheffield. It was then performed in 2018 by Dronfield Players at the Civic Theatre Dronfield. The same year the play then went on to be performed in competition at the Partington Theatre in Glossop, Where it won Best Actress, runner up Best Play and runner up Best Actor. |
