Valerie has worked in Drama all her life, both as a Drama teacher, MA student, and now Artistic Director and producer of the Bridport Stage company, formerly Bridport Shakespeare Company, since 2016.

Valerie has won awards in Dallas, Texas in 2011 and Manchester in 2019 for her play The Magdalen Whitewash, which has been performed in Australia, America and all over the UK and Ireland.

Other plays by Valerie include adaptations of Dracula, Jekyll and Hyde, most of Shakespeare and other classics, including Jane Eyre.

Original productions include 'The Giggleswick players do full frontal' performed in Doncaster and Bristol, and 'Love Marilyn', staged in Edinburgh. |
