Graham Andrews
Working in the Following Genre:
One-Act Plays
Background
Originally from Yorkshire. Graham now lives on the Isle of Wight with his husband Andrew. Graham was brought up with typical Yorkshire humour and, from an early age, was involved in every play and musical offering that school provided.
Graham has appeared on stage with a local Am-Dram group writing and performing comedy monologues as well as plays, most notably as Rod in Calendar Girls. Graham has appeared on Television several times working with celebrities including Donny Osmond, Scott Mills and Gordon Ramsey, comic talent Jimmy Carr and Rob Rouse and as a extra on the soap Emmerdale.
I'm Not Dead Yet
Graham has spent time in several Nursing Homes over the years as a visiting Foot Health Practitioner so, when he was asked to write a play for a Senior Cast, he called on his first hand experiences and wove them into the script. Much of the humour, and the characters are based on real people and situations.
Looking Forward
Graham is currently rewriting his Comedy Monologue and also converting it into a One Act Play and has been asked to write a Pantomime to be performed in Winter 2025.
