Potted Pride and Prejudice 'Potted' was staged as part of Worthing Theatre Trail in 2024 and got rave reviews and full houses every night. The comedy value arises not only from Austen's wit and irony but also from the many quick changes by the cast, which includes one male playing all the older lady roles. The audience laughed throughout. All the best loved characters from Pride and Prejudice feature in this production and it is true to the dialogue in the novel. |
Other plays to be published Nadya's most recent venture has been to direct her full Two-Act version of Pride and Prejudice to full houses, standing ovations and positive reviews from the audience. It is the truest adaptation of Jane Austen's novel and was admired by life-long Austen fans, as well audience members who were new to her work and enjoyed the comical aspects of the show. Nadya was asked many times when it will be published and is it available to other societies to put on - Watch this space!
It is Nadya's intention to publish Confession - a serious drama, based on a priest's dilemma, when someone confesses a serious crime in his confessional. |
