The staff of Corkscrew Community College have arrived for a training day before the new term starts. A new bursar has been preparing the school for a likely Ofsted inspection. However, all the change will have an adverse effect on the lives and plans of many members of staff... Assembled in the staff room are:-
Carole Curtain, head of drama
Bryony Bunsen, head of science
Andy Cox, head of PE
Chris Coke, laboratory technician
Bill Boilerhouse, caretaker
Nick Pinscher, the new bursar
Samantha Richer-Quick, headteacher
Things get, shall we say, a bit fraught. So much so that there's a murder. The local police, DI Hagley and PC Racy, are called-in to investigate, with the help of the audience.
