What's the Mystery Here?
DCI Ben Cleveleys is approaching retirement and, with the help of his Detective Sergeant, Sandra Thornton he wants to go out on a high. However, there are people in his life with other ideas:
For a start, there's Linda Cleveleys, Ben's long-suffering wife.
Then there's PC Graham Fisher, a police officer with a grudge against his superior.
Meanshile, Cleveleys is investigating Dudley Huggins a murder suspect.
Fighting Dudley's corner is his sister, Phyllis Hancock.
Forensic pathologist, Freddie Newbold is thrown into the mix.
Finally, there's Simone, a flirtatious café proprietor.
It turns out that Cleveleys' last case is more complicated than he expected, especially when there is another murder...
