What's the Mystery Here?
Dressed to Kill features a drama group getting ready to stage their first ever fund-raising musical fashion show, and backstage everything is not going well.
Co-founder, and dreadful ham, Larry is irritating everyone with his Shakespeare quotes.
The other co-founder, Barbara keeps boasting about her daughter in musical theatre.
Bad-mannered, bossy, brash Shirley is pushing for her daughter to get the best roles.
Her daughter, Lisa, has an equal faith in her own talent.
Also promoting a daughter is Ruth, just as ambitious, but more subtle than Shirley
That daughter, Karen, doesn't like drama and would rather be anywhere than at a rehearsal.
The unsung hero of the group is 'Young' Peter. He's keen to retire, but he keeps everything running.
The loud, flamboyant Gerald has been prohibited from performing in the show.
The put-upon Marigold is a talented actress who rarely gets the chance to perform.
The tensions prove too much for one person - well, two people, one of whom dies as a consequence. It's up to the audience to unravel the mystery, under the guidance of the tenth member of the company, a Compere.
