What's the Mystery Here?
It's 1949 and a fledgling village theatre group is preparing to stage it's first production, but tensions are running high within the group and without.
The founder of the drama oup is Bunty Parlington-Dormer a recent arrival who has married into local aristocracy.
Bunty's new husband, the undramatic Robert Parlington-Dormer, is beginning to suspect that she married him for money.
Invited up from London, Nancy ‘Tuppence’ Briar is an old friend of Bunty's.
Robert's old housekeeper, Betty Buckland, left under a cloud, but has now joined the drama group.
‘Young’ George never wanted to be involved in drama, yet here he is.
Movie fan Joan Smith came to audition at the request of Betty.
Things get more dramatic when a member of the company is murdered. It's up to the audience to find the killer (with the help of a Compere who manages the event).
