What's the Mystery Here?
Sir Alan Sweetener is not a very nice boss, so there's a distinct air of trepidation when he calls the other board members (his sisters) and senior staff together for a meeting. In the boardroom, we find

Inspector John Sherlock of the local constabulary is constrained to put in an appearance. (You can guess why.)
There is also a Presenter who acts as master of ceremonies
and a non-speaking Caretaker who makes a brief appearance in Act 2.
