Baldock Allotment Growers meet are in their shed preparing for their flower and produce show. Bob needs Councillor Alex to support a building project. Alex is desperate to steal gold from Bob in the root vegetable category, having already stolen Bob's wife.
There's the pompous councillor Alex, hoping for root vegetable gold
His efficient wife, Rachel is in charge of judging
Inspector Penny Hart is also judging the show
Bob Mansfield needs a favour from Alex
His bubbly wife, Debs is not part of that favour
Then there's Alice, on work experience from horticultural college.
With jealousy, rivalry, secrets and a shed packed with pesticides and sharp implements, what could possibly go wrong?
(There's a Radio Announcer role - this could be recorded or could be done by someone acting as MC for the evening.)
