What's the Mystery Here?
Lionel Twain, a New York developer, and his wife Candy blow into town. He has one week to sell his investment scheme to the townspeople of Canyon City. With this aim, he's invited the town to chicken dinner.
Restauranteur Vicky Stapleton is hosting the event.
On hand to record the event is Roscoe Dorking an aggressive TV Reporter
along with videographer Ole Orloff
French detective Jacques Poulet is visiting the town, bringing
Dr Doug Welsummer Poulet's overworked and underappreciated assistant
The Mayor of Canyon City Angela Orpington is amongst the diners.
Her husband, Tom Orpington is a chicken buff
The town's chief of police, James Campine is tucking in
As is the county medical examiner, Dr Pam Sebright
Ronald Sebright owns the site of Twain's planned develiopment
Less than happy with the plan is Claudia Campine President of the Historical Society.
As you may have guessed, the event doesn't go well, and Poulet tries to take charge of a murder investigation in which the suspects include four members of the audience!
