What's the Mystery Here?
A silent auction is being held to dispose of some of the effects of the late businessman, Jacob Thorbridge. Some of his colleagues have been invited to say a few words at the event:-
Louis Grainger, half of the clown duo, Louis and Louise.
The other half of the duo is Louis's wife, Louise, who, like her husband, really wanted to be a country singer.
A businessman with a difference, Lyle Lance sells real estate on Mars.
Jacob Thornbridge sponsored an orphanage where Coach Judy is athletic director and chemistry teacher.
In charge of the auction is Joan Bentley Thorbridge's attorney, financial advisor and executrix.
Detective Anderson arrives with the news that Thornbridge was murdered - and, of course, his former colleagues are all suspects.
