SynopsisA novel twist on the theme of putting on a play. Bernadette's spirit must haunt the school where she was Headmistress until they put on a performance worthy to be a tribute to the village's war dead. Now she only has ex-pupil Tiffany the janitor to help her pull together the perfect panto.

Thereafter, guided and misguided by the philosophies of his friend Lord Henry Wotton, he embarks on a life of sin and decadence - during which he does not age a day, but the image in the portrait becomes crooked, aged and depraved.

The Pied Piper [Version 6] by Sharon Hulm

SynopsisThe town of Hamelin has a problem. A plague of rascally rodents are stealing gold and sausages and with only a scaredy-cat available to deal with them there is only one thing to do - accept the offer of the Pied Piper to get rid of the rats. But there’s a snag, the Piper wants a bag of gold as payment and there just isn't any gold left in the town and he won’t accept an I.O.U.

The Pied Piper and the Tail of the Rat King by Peter Nuttall

SynopsisA new twist on an old tail...sorry, tale. The Pied Piper leads all the rats away to a secret cave so that he can become Mayor of the town, but he soon reveals himself to be greedier and more of a pest than the rats ever were. Brave Rattles the rat has to try to free the rats and the town!

The Pied Piper of Hamelin [Version 2] by Hilary Mackelden

SynopsisAlvin's a musician who loves the Mayor's daughter, but can't marry her because he's too poor. When rats plague the town, the Mayor uses them as scapegoats for the town's misery, but if Alvin can rid the town of vermin he can marry Ellie and become wealthy....
