A 21st Century Nativity by Peter van der Sluijs
RolesMinimum Male roles = 4. Minimum Female roles = 2. Minimum total with doubling = 11. Minimum total without doubling = 11. No chorus.
Run TimeAround 7 minutes. [Estimated!] Carols can be sung between scenes that would extend the length of this play.
MusicThe producer's copy of the script suggests six carols to be interspersed between the scenes. (These would increase the run time to up to 30 minutes.) Lazy Bee Scripts does not supply any sheet music with this script.

Aesop's Fables II by Gerald P. Murphy
RolesMinimum Male roles = 2. Minimum Female roles = 2. Minimum total with doubling = 8. Minimum total without doubling = 20. No chorus. Characters include mice, a cat, a lion, sheep, a wolf and foxes.

StyleOne-act play for children - a dramatisation of four of Aesop's fables. Very flexible format - no specific set needed and the stories could be presented individually or as a set.
SynopsisA group of mice are delighted by their plan for constraining the local cat - until it comes to executing the plan.
Meanwhile, a lion falls in love, a boy ruins his chance of promotion in the shepherding business, and a fox tries to make the most of a fashion disaster!

Aesop's Fables III by Gerald P. Murphy

Told from the point of view of a teenage girl, Anna, a jealous friend of Mary. It brings out the difficulty of Mary's situation within her community, but the resolution is joyous and uplifting.
