SynopsisIt's not easy for Prince Gerald and Princess Wendy to accept the court's rigid protocol and whenever they can, they sneak away. When they meet, both conceal their true identity, but things get complicated when Gerald resolves to propose.

Rumpelstiltskin [Rhyming] by Peter Bond

MusicOptional lyrics embedded in the script, fit to the Barcarolle from Offenbach's Tales of Hoffman. Lazy Bee Scripts does not supply any sheet music with this script.
StyleA short verse pantomime in two scenes for a small cast. A fun take on the Grimm tale, livened up by some comedy and a twist on the ending.
SynopsisThe Miller boasts that his daughter Samantha is so clever she can spin straw into gold. The King hears this and demands that she do so (with the reward of marrying the king). Samantha is a fine young lady, and so on, but has no such skill. Rumpelstiltskin, however, does and completes the task for her. After which, it turns out that Samantha doesn't think much of the reward.

Saint Nicholas and the Three Purses of Gold by Timothy Hallett and Nicholas Richards

Technically, there are no characters - that is to say, it could be sung by a soloist. In practice, the intention is for the singing to be shared between several narrators and a chorus whilst the story is mimed by actors.

StyleA sung story. (Technically, that makes it a Cantata, but don't let the fancy name put you off!) Does not require any set or props, but props could be used as part of a mime of the story.
SynopsisWhere does our modern Santa Claus come from? He's descended from legends of Saint Nicholas, the fourth century Bishop of Myra - legends such as this one!

SynopsisThe Scottish Play - or 'Kids in Kilts' The complete story of Shakespeare's Macbeth (witches, murder, walking trees, revenge - that sort of thing) told as a verse play for kids. [Note that there is also a musical version of this play, called (with great enterprise) The Musical Scottish Play. It is identical except that six original songs have been added.]
