SynopsisHeadmaster Gordon Lewis has called an extraordinary staff meeting, but has excluded one department in doing so. He announces a forthcoming VIP visit along with the vacancy for Assistant Head, causing much lively discussion. Rivalries between staff bubble to the surface, as political opinions, back-stabbing and even threats of violence are thrown into the mix.

The Prince and the Pauper by Mark Twain adapted by Peter Bond
RolesMinimum Male roles = 6. Minimum Female roles = 1. Minimum total with doubling = 17. Minimum total without doubling = 31. Chorus. The vast majority of the characters are written male, but need not be played that way.

StyleFull-length play/musical. A family show, written for performance by a youth theatre company, but could be a mix of adults and children.
SynopsisA faithful adaptation and well crafted dramatisation of the classic novel by Mark Twain, The Prince and the Pauper is a musical play suitable for secondary schools or Academies specialising in the performing arts. The Prince and the Pussycat by Jon Dwyer
RolesMinimum Male roles = 4. Minimum Female roles = 5. Minimum total with doubling = 16. Minimum total without doubling = 18. Chorus. Lots of flexibility in the casting. There is no formal role for a pantomime dame, but the Queen could be cast as a dame (as could Primrose!) Likewise, the prince could be played by a female as a pantomime principal boy. Cast includes several mice!

Prince Charmin' by Ed Lee

SynopsisPrince Charmin' is second in line to the throne, though his older brother Rufus is 'advised' by the evil Mould. It is Mould who has engineered Rufus's marriage to Princess Grace, though Rufus would rather have Molly, the fishmonger's daughter and the Princess has taken a shine to Charmin. It's all sorted out in traditional panto style.

SynopsisPrincess Zabaglioni went missing as a baby, but Fairy Fettucine is sure she still lives as a peasant and will one day become a Princess again. Just as Prince Tiramisu of Trattoria is looking for a bride, as it happens! Meanwhile, the evil wizard Vermicelli persuades the Queen to outlaw chocolate. We also meet three soldiers called Here, There and Everywhere, an abominable snowman, and a rabbit called Frog.

The Princess and the Pea by Luke Reilly

But her meticulous, and often impossible, challenges have (quite deliberately) left him a bachelor. So when the mischievous Mandarin Orange kidnaps the original fairy tale Princess, Cinderella, to train his two daughters, will Prince Pea finally be wed? Or will the unique charms of the boisterous Raspberry Sorbet win his mother over? And in a land where fruit and vegetables walk and talk, what exactly will be hidden beneath that famous mattress?
