Synopsis:
A tense courtroom drama with the prosecutor battling a slick defence lawyer at the murder trial of social misfit Josephine Mason. The second act takes the form of a flashback portraying the murder of which she is accused. We are left with the dilemma of knowing jury's decision before we learn the identity of the murderer. We are then able to evaluate the justice of the verdict, wherein lies the final twist.
