A set of five plays, each for six characters, reviewing the life and times of the Tudor monarch from sporty to portly. The cast speak directly to the audience as well as interacting with each other. (Designed to be used in a variety of ways including as 'group readers'.) Play 1 deals with Catherine of Aragon and Anne Boleyn, Play 2 covers Anne Boleyn and Jane Seymour, Play 3 brings in Anne of Cleves and Catherine Howard, Play 4 introduces Henry's last wife, Catherine Parr, and Play 5 is a brief review from the point of view of the six wives. |
