Synopsis:
The down-trodden Pantoville peasants earn meagre wages singing happy choruses and smiling for tourists. When Councillor Purslove makes them redundant they're desperate for work and are grateful to Dick Whittington for using them in his TV commercials. But when he plans to privatise their well and employ them at starvation wages they take matters into their own hands.
