Middle aged couple Charlie and Annie’s marriage has become stale and humdrum, such that Annie finds herself experiencing fantasies of a more exciting life. After being made redundant following 40 years as a boiled sweet salesman, Charlie comes home to Annie, who has uncovers what she believes to be evidence of her husband's love affair with an unknown woman.
