Lazy Bee Scripts Lockdown Video Display Terms and Conditions
1. What we provide
License to video a performance of a script made under lockdown conditions (where social distancing regulations are in force). (Video is used here to mean any means of capturing and displaying motion pictures, but excluding Live Streaming.)
For copyright purposes, a video of a script is treated in the same way as a performance of the script. The author is entitled to a royalty fee for exhibition of the video to an audience.
Permission to adapt the script to fit within the constraints of lockdown conditions. This excludes any right to major changes in plot, character or title. Major changes require the permission of the author through Lazy Bee Scripts before such changes may be made.
Permission To display the video on the Internet, either In a Public location (where the video can be seen by anyone) or in a Private location (where access is limited and controlled).
2. Video Exhibition
These terms apply to videos of performances made under lockdown. In this context, a performance is any use of the script, regardless of the presence or absence of an audience.
These terms only apply to shows licensed by Lazy Bee Scripts.
The customer shall be wholly responsible for all exhibition of the video.
At the time of application for the licence, the customer shall specify whether the video is for Public or Private exhibition. The customer shall ensure that Private exhibition remains Private.
At the time of application for the licence, the customer shall specify the likely audience size (based on the membership of a Private exhibition group or the expected views of a Public video). If the number of views exceeds the specified number, the video shall be withdrawn from the Internet.
3. Credit Shall be Given To the Authors
The title of the script and the name(s) of the author(s) and the text 'By arrangement with Lazy Bee Scripts' must be included as a text display in the video.
4. Refunds
Videos cancelled before the video is made qualify for refunds of the video license fees. If you wish to request a refund, please contact Lazy Bee Scripts before taking any other action. (For example, it is easier and cheaper for us to process a refund than if you cancel a transaction with your credit card company.) See our Contact page for contact details. Please quote your order number in any correspondence.
