Synopsis:
King Richard II, badly advised, banishes Henry Bolingbroke. When Richard seizes the property of John of Gaunt, Henry's father, Henry returns to get restitution. He builds a strong following against the unpopular Richard, who surrenders the crown, is imprisoned, and murdered.
